"We have a Joint Road Safety Communications Group which co-ordinates communications in partnership across the county, resulting in more focus and stronger joint campaigns, rather than smaller campaigns with less impact.
The partners are Surrey County Council, Surrey Police, the Safety Camera Partnership and Surrey Fire & Rescue.
The campaigns include motorcyclist awareness, drink driving and speeding. By working in partnership and combining budgets to reach a wider audience there is a significant financial saving although we do not have figures for this."
